Platinum Plus Vehicle Coverage

Key Assistance

Includes 24-Hour Vehicle Lock-Out Assistance if you have misplaced your keys, the Keys or transponder are damaged and will not work, or locked your keys in your vehicle, assistance will be provided to unlock your vehicle and /or to replace the Key and/or transponder as needed. Simply call the 24-Hour Key Assistance toll-free number for locksmith assistance or KEY/transponder replacement assistance. There will be no out of pocket expenses for covered locksmith services up to the Eighty Five ($85.00) dollars benefit limit per occurrence for entry into your vehicle. Maximum benefit for replacement of keys, transponders and any programming (if applicable) will be Five Hundred ($500.00) dollars per occurrence for loss or damage.

Includes Towing Assistance in the event your vehicle needs to be towed due to loss/ damage of key/transponder and the key needs to be programmed at your issuing dealership, simply call the 24-Hour Key Assistance phone number to arrange for a tow to your issuing dealership, or if traveling, the nearest franchise dealer. The maximum towing benefit is one hundred ($100.00) dollars per occurrence.

Tire Road Hazard

For the term of your coverage, provides for tire repair when damaged by a Road Hazard up to $35.00. If a tire of the Covered Vehicle is non-repairable and has more than 3/32nds of tread depth remaining, it is eligible for replacement with a comparable new tire (including balancing & mounting). All tire replacement services must be performed by a nationally recognized commercial establishment. A maximum benefit of $400.00 per tire replacement. Total liability during the entire term shall not exceed two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00).

Windshield Repair

For the term of your coverage, provides for front windshield chipping and repairable front glass damage. Protection includes repair of chips and/or cracks caused by propelled rocks or road hazard debris while driving on public roads, streets and highways. Repairs are of a structural nature and not of cosmetic nature. Maximum of three (3) cracks or chips per claim and maximum two (2) claims for each year of the term. Coverage is for front windshield glass repairs only. For safety reasons, chips or star cracks over one and one half (1.5) inches in diameter, straight cracks over 6 inches in length, chips or cracks or other damage that are in the driver’s acute line of sight, cracks that extend to the windshield’s edge, or any other damage that is considered non-repairable are excluded from coverage.

Wheel Road Hazard

If a wheel covered under term is damaged in conjunction with a covered tire due to a Road Hazard and cannot hold proper tire pressure, it will be repaired or replaced with a wheel of like kind and quality as the original wheel. Damage resulting in scrapes, scratches, or other cosmetic damage where the tire can hold proper tire pressure is not covered under this Plan. Additionally, per tire/wheel repair or replacement and aggregate liability is unlimited during the Plan term.

Additional Platinum Plus Benefits

Emergency Travel Expense:

Covers up to $500.00 for emergency travel expenses (lodging, meals, and transportation including airline and car rental) if your vehicle is disabled due to a collision 100 miles or more from your home.

Ambulance Service Reimbursement:

If you are involved in a vehicle accident and need an ambulance, we will reimburse up to $50.00 to help defray the cost. The accident must be vehicle related, but is not restricted to your vehicle.

Car Theft Reward:

$1,000 reward will be paid for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone who steals a Covered Vehicle owned by you.

Hit and Run Reward:

$1,000 reward will be paid for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone who flees the scene of an accident after hitting the Covered Vehicle, or steals a Covered Vehicle owned by you.

Security Credit Card Registration:

Allows one fast toll-free call to provide notification to all of the credit card companies alerting them to the lost or stolen cards.

Emergency Message Relay:

Will provide assistance in relaying an emergency message to family members, friends or business associates if you are involved in a vehicular emergency and need to notify another party.
